Green Shield Academy’s OSH Professional Register is a competency-based evaluation framework designed to assess, verify, and formally accredit the expertise of senior Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) practitioners.

Through a rigorous peer-review process, we benchmark candidates against international safety standards, validating their leadership, technical consultancy, and instructional capabilities.

Applicants may apply for recognition across three distinct professional designations depending on their verified credentials, years of experience, and strategic impact.

1. Certified OSH Expert (COSH-Ex)

Designed for senior practitioners with a proven track record in developing robust OSH management systems, conducting technical risk assessments, and driving organizational safety culture.
Target Audience: OSH Managers, Technical Specialists, Senior Risk Engineers.
Entry Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of verified professional OSH experience.
Level 6 OSH Qualification (e.g., NEBOSH International Diploma, NVQ Level 6, or relevant BSc/MSc degree).

2. Certified OSH Consultant (COSH-Con)

Tailored for strategic advisors who deliver high-level consultancy, regulatory compliance audits, environmental safety integration, and executive-level OSH strategies.
Target Audience: Principal Consultants, OSH Auditors, Technical Advisors.
Entry Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of demonstrable OSH consultancy or leadership experience.
Postgraduate qualification (MSc/PhD) or advanced professional OSH chartership/fellowship status.
A verified portfolio of delivered advisory projects, policy developments, or legal compliance audits.

3. Certified International OSH Trainer (CI-OSHT)

Recognises master trainers and instructional leaders capable of designing, delivering, and evaluating high-impact OSH training programmes internationally.
Target Audience: Corporate OSH Trainers, Academy Instructors, Safety Educators.
Entry Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of active training delivery in occupational safety and health.
Recognised Train-the-Trainer (TOT) certification or Level 4/5 Education and Training qualification.
Evidence of 500+ hours of logged OSH instructional delivery and course design.
